Photo Essays

As a course requirement, students were asked to document through photography. Upon completion of the course and their trip students compile a series of pictures into a narrative form and write a 'Photo Essay'. These Photo Essays took on a variety formats and each one explored different aspects of Japanese culture, history and experience. On the final morning of the trip Students presented their photos essays to an audience of faculty and students at Sophia University.
